What is my role?

Are you ready for a new challenge selling LAN, WLAN, IP PBX and UC technologies? Are you comfortable working in a small team with tons of autonomy?

We are seeking an experienced (5-10 years) account director to sell our products and solutions with and through channel partners, both with a new logo and established clients across multiple vertical markets. Your territory will be AZ, CO, NM, NV & UT. This is a 100% work-from-home job and will require ~50% travel.

What am I responsible for?

A regional sales director at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise is the CEO of their sales territory, with a great deal of autonomy in deciding on an appropriate strategy. Your prime objective is to hit your number, which is an annual product and service revenue quota for your territory, which will include some established customers in the states AZ, CO, NM, NV & UT. Typical duties to achieve the goal include:

  • Multiplying your knowledge by recruiting and enabling business partners to sell
  • Presenting our solutions and value propositions at sales meetings, trade shows and webinars (in-person and virtual) with customers, prospects and partners, supported by your dedicated sales engineering team
  • Providing accurate forecasts using Salesforce

 What are my qualifications?

  • 3-6 years of direct sales experience with a proven track record of finishing in the top 10%.
  • 5 years successful selling experience in our target markets (Education, Healthcare, State and Local Government)
  • Senior level customer relationships within the Enterprise, State and Local Government, Education and/or other sectors.
  • Results focused and ability to work independently- must have a solid track record with proven ability to identify, qualify and close deals.
  • Excellent written, communication and presentation skills.
  • Salesforce.com experience
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required.
  • B.S. Degree or equivalent experience.
