What is my role? - Fully Remote, Canada
Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has an opportunity for a Sales Account Director responsible for expanding business in the Canadian Enterprise market. If you are a highly motivated, confident individual with strong relationship-building skills, sales experience, and a customer-first attitude, we want to hear from you!
You will be working closely with our Canadian director and the entire team. You will be working on prospecting and lead development, outreach, and presentations to prospects, closing net new business and uncovering new opportunities to grow the business. The primary focus will be to secure network and communication products in the transportation, government, oil and gas, utilities, and healthcare markets.
What am I responsible for?
- Achieve annual order and revenue targets
- Develop and execute an Enterprise sales strategy with associated account plans focused on key market verticals and target customers.
- Prospecting and business development
- Filling your funnel with sales opportunities
- Client calls and brief presentations
- Develop and foster senior level contacts and achieve "trusted advisor" status within targeted accounts.
- Collaborate with the Services Sales team and the Services Product Management team to realize market objectives and financial targets. Aggressively share market requirements and assist with the creation and validation of customer value propositions.
- Marshal and lead cross-organizational deal pursuit teams.
- Accurate and on-time order forecasting.
- Budget and expense management
- Can do attitude & team player with proven ability to influence others to achieve sales goals.
- Travel: 50% - 75% expected in visiting customers and driving new business around the Ontario, Alberta, Qubec and British Columbia market.
What are my qualifications?
- You define yourself as someone highly motivated, organized, structured, outgoing and a sales professional with these qualifications:
- 3-6 years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of finishing in the top 10%.
- 5 years successful selling experience in our target markets (transportation, government, oil and gas, utilities, and healthcare market)
- Motivated by the prospect of hunting and closing new business
- Senior level customer relationships within the transportation, oil & gas, state, local government, and healthcare customers.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Results focused - must have a solid track record with proven ability to identify, qualify and close deals.
- Excellent written, communication and presentation skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Salesforce.com
B.S. Degree or equivalent experience.
Salary range - CAD 90,000 to 110,000 plus eligible for quarterly comission pay
