Program Management Intern - Hybrid

Job Description:
As a Program Management Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our program management and DevOps teams. You will gain hands-on experience in planning, executing, and tracking projects. You will assist in coordinating and managing various aspects of our DevOps activities to ensure successful delivery. This internship will provide valuable exposure to project management methodologies, cross-functional collaboration, and overall DevOps processes.
Responsibilities:
- Support the program management team in planning and executing projects within specified timelines and budgets
- Assist in coordinating DevOps activities, including scheduling meetings, tracking action items, and maintaining project documentation
- Participate in status meetings and provide updates on project progress, identifying and escalating any potential risks or issues
- Help update program management tools and systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date project data.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or Engineering
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels
- Proficiency in using project management tools and software (e.g., YouTrack, Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello)
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies and concepts
- Basic understanding of DevOps methodologies and cloud service operations would be a plus
- Proficency in scripting languages such as Python would also be desired
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Must be able to work onsite in Thousand Oaks offices minimum of 2 days per week.
- Salary range: $18-$20 per hour, maximum of 29 hours per week.
