What is my role?

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible to create long-term, trusting relationships with a Target set of prospects, to develop new business from clients and actively seek new sales opportunities to position the ALE ICT portfolio i.e., Voice, Data & Cloud Solutions. Good networking skills and deep knowledge about Government/Defense & Public Sector in UAE is a MUST for this role.


Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will collaborate closely with our Business Partners as well as our Channel Teams, with a mission to become a primary customer interface responsible for the development of business, and management of relationships, with a specific prospect, customer or customers.

You should have a proven work experience as a Sales Manager, Key Account Manager or a relevant Sales role. You should also have experience and knowledge with IT Sales particularly in selling ICT networks.

Your goal is to generate awareness and demand of our products and services to the clients, as well as acquiring new customers.

What am I responsible for?

  • You should possess and demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including Executive and C-level
  • Gain market share by acquisition of New Logos
  • You collaborate with other team members (channel, support, marketing, inside sales) to achieve your goals
  • You maintain Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise branding in the Key Accounts by the creation of references with end customers and helping Business Partners turn their customer relationship into long-term partnership.
  • You develop and deliver accurate sales forecasts in line with business objectives
  • Deliver client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Multiple Account/Project Management at a time

Am I the right person for this position?

You define yourself as someone who has passion for selling and a strong desire to build and nurture professional relationships. In addition to this, you should also exhibit & possess the following capabilities: 

  • A seasoned IT Sales Manager within UAE with 5+ years in the field is a MUST.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with equal ease and flair, across different experience levels including CxO level, and ranging across different personality styles and job profiles
  • Previous Experience with an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) will be an added value
  • Since the role requires a Strategic and long term engagement with Government, Defense & Public Sector prospects/customers, Arabic Speaking is a Mandatory requirement.
